500 Syrian Migrants To Be Re-homed In UK City With A Homeless Epidemic

Birmingham city council will be housing 500 Syrian Migrants, whilst there is currently 10’s of THOUSANDS of British people in the city who have made an application to the homeless register, provoking the question “shouldn’t charity begin at home?”

Birmingham council has recently stated “We want Birmingham to be a city of sanctuary for Syrian Refugees”

During a meeting at the cities church, council leader John Clancy claimed: “This city will put its arms out to welcome refugees from those UN camps, 500 of them over this next few years. “We will welcome them, it’s a sign of strength as a city that we can do that.

There is expected to be around 20,000 Syrians re-homed across the UK.
